Senior Product Designer

We built an integrated trading module powered by external liquidity providers, allowing users to exchange and trade directly inside EMCD without withdrawing their funds.

I designed the trading terminal interface from scratch, supporting multiple order types (market, limit, conditional) and a complete asset analytics system.

In parallel, I developed the Asset Portfolio — a unified hub for tracking profitability, P&L, and asset allocation.

EMCD ranks among the top 10 global mining pools, with a base

of over 35,000 active miners.

Before launching the trading section, users had to withdraw their mining rewards to external exchanges for conversion and trading.

This led to high transaction fees, complex financial tracking, and reduced user retention within the EMCD ecosystem.

Conducted research on how miners interact with external exchanges and identified pain points related to withdrawals and trading operations (delays, fees, conversion losses).

Analyzed UX patterns of major exchanges (Binance, Bybit, OKX, KuCoin) and defined optimal order placement flows.

Designed a modular system that connects trading, analytics, and portfolio management into a single workflow.

Built an adaptive interface for both web and mobile, maintaining a consistent visual language.

Ran internal testing with a group of miners and refined the product based on early feedback before release.

In the first month after launch, EMCD’s net profit increased by ~10% due to higher fund retention within the ecosystem.

Over 60% of active miners adopted the trading functionality within the first two weeks.

The share of users making repeat trades reached 12% of the total active audience.

Time spent on asset operations was reduced by more than half through the integration of mining, portfolio, and trading into one unified interface.
